White & tabby Zeus is  such a friendly, playful and affectionate boy! Late last summer, Zeus and his bother Apollo (adopted) found their way to the grounds of a large local church, where they were literally growing like little weeds: unwanted, untended and unloved. At the church’s fall festival, a cat-savvy visitor noticed the kittens playing in the grass and (as we cat people do) began asking questions about who they belonged to. It was clear no one was looking out for the little boys, and the festival organizers readily accepted her offer to trap them. In return, the organizers promised money for vet expenses and help finding adoptive homes. When the promised help failed to materialize, the boys’ benefactor turned to FFGW for help. We are delighted to introduce you to Zeus! Zeus is a bit shy in new situations, but warms up quickly—and when he does, he will really show you how wonderful life with cats can be! Zeus is a cuddle-bug, but likes his snuggling in small doses; he’s too busy looking for his next adventure to sit still for too long. Zeus loves to play, whether it’s wrestling with a buddy, playing with one of his dozens of toys or challenging an obliging human into an exciting game. Zeus  loves to be petted and is good about having his toenails trimmed. Zeus is such a friendly, open-minded boy that he made immediate friends with the other cats in his caregiver’s home, so we’re sure he will happily adjust if you’re looking for one kitty to complete your family. Zeus asked us to remind you that he likes toys--and drinking straws, especially the white ones!
