This strapping grey and white senior was found as a stray, much too friendly to keep living outside. He’s since had all the necessary vet work (Teeth? Who needs ‘em! Vaccines? You betcha!) and is looking for his forever home.

He is very sweet, affectionate, and surprisingly playful for his age! His favorite activities include chasing after a wand toy or laser pointer, being brushed around his neck and face, and greeting his foster mom with gentle headbutts and loud purrs when she gets home :)   After a nice play session he’s more than happy to snooze for most of the day, often snuggled right next to you on the couch.

Finley is overall a very low maintenance guy once he gets comfortable: he free-feeds without issue, has impeccable litter box manners, only sharpens his claws on cat scratchers, is friendly towards strangers, and has done well in several different environments (households of all sizes). He’d be content with humans who are home all the time or if they need to be away from home, engage with him upon their return.

He'd do great as a solo pet as he's generally indifferent to other cats in the home (tends to ignore them in favor of soliciting human attention) and would likely do well with cat-literate children. He has not been exposed to dogs.

Finley is currently on a prescription diet to mitigate food allergies. His food is readily available at major pet stores or online with vet authorization, and adopters may be able to wean him onto non-prescription food.
