Fabulous Quarry is a wonderful, gentle girl and has the prettiest face and most striking markings. She’s a very busy girl who always has to see what’s going on. She not a big talker but can she ever purr! She purrs when she’s petted, she purrs when she’s watching the world outside her window, she purrs when you get the food out, she purrs when you look at her. And she purrs when she gives you one of her patented power head butts that say “I just LOOOVE YOU SO MUCH!” She even purred the night she was rescued after she ran across a country road at 3 a.m. into the parking lot of an abandoned quarry. Her rescuer thought she was feral, but pulled in after her anyway and was totally surprised when the little cat came running to her immediately. With no carrier in the car, Quarry rode home snuggled in her rescuer’s sweater. When her owner could not be found, Quarry asked FFGW to find her a new home. Quarry is used to other cats and dogs.

Happy News! Quarry was adopted on January 27, 2012. She now has a forever home--including something very special: a boy of her very own!
