About Yum Yum | |
|
Poor little Buttercup was a lost and lonely little stray, sweet as can be. A kind lady noticed the pretty little tortie and began feeding her. That was fine with Buttercup. She moved right in under the lady's deck and on June 18, gave birth to 3 little kittens. When the babies started toddling out from their nursery under the deck, the lady scooped them up and brought them inside her sun porch. That was fine with Buttercup too, and she followed right in after them. Handled, cuddled and kissed every day day since they were 4 1/2 weeks old, gray-white-and-peach Yum-Yum. Her brothers--white-toed tabby Gilbert and red-headed Sullivan--were adopted in November 2011!
HAPPINESS! Yum-Yum met her new parents at our January 2012 adoption fair and will be going to her new home any day now! Congratulations & purrs!
PS Don't worry about mom! Far from being upset at her daughter's adoption, Buttercup is enjoying the opportunity to be a carefree kitten again! We know her perfect person will come along any day now!
