Poor little Buttercup was a lost and lonely little stray, sweet as can be, living under a kind lady's deck when she gave birth to 3 little kittens on June 18, 2011. When the babies started toddling out from their nursery under the deck, the lady scooped them up and brought them inside her sun porch. That was fine with Buttercup too, and she followed right in after them. Buttercup's kittens have long been adopted, but Buttercup is still looking for a special someone or two of her very own. Buttercup likes other cats very much, but would also be purr-fectly happy as an only cat. Recently, her big tortie purr-sonality proved to be too much for one of the kitties belonging to a family who wanted her to join their family. Buttercup took the entire situation in stride: she LOVED her time at the other house (especially the large selection of cat toys), and loved being part of the family (especially following the people around the house and snuggling with them in front of the TV). And she loved going back to her foster home and telling her foster mom and all her friends about her vacation and the silly, sissy boy she met there. Oh Buttercup!
UPDATE NOVEMBER 17 2013: Our last adoption fair at VCA Barcroft Cat Hospital was extra special: our wonderful Buttercup met her new mom & dad!
