Bandit/Charlie is a very handsome buff-colored mackerel tabby. A "gentle giant," he is a friendly, loving boy with LOTS of energy. Bandit and his brother (who has already been adopted) were dumped as infants at a Loudoun County farm where a barn cat let them join her brood. When the boys were about 6 weeks old, the farmer offered the boys to a neighbor who was looking for “mousers” for her barn. Happily for Bandit and for us (and for you!), this neighbor was also an FFGW volunteer. She immediately saw that the sweet baby boys were much too young and much too sociable to be farm hands.  Now in a new foster home more accessible to our adopters, Bandit has really blossomed into one great kitty!  His foster mom and dad, who have taken to calling him Charlie, report that they really could call him anything because he's having way too much fun playing with the other kitties in the house to learn his name.  Bandit/Charlie sleeps in bed with the whole family at night and loves to play and toss things in the air. He never walks-he's always at the gallop, but is never too busy to stop for cuddles and pets . In addition to their own cats, his foster parents are babysittin a friend’s cat, who is still sleeping in the guest room at night. Bandit/Charlie and the house guest have become BFFs. Every morning, Bandit/Charlie is waiting at the guest room door begging his foster mom to let him in so he can start the day’s play activities with his pal. This is typical of Bandit: he hasn’t met anyone—feline or human—who he hasn’t taken to almost on the spot.  He’s truly a cat in a million.  He's such a good boy and would make anyone happy. He can’t wait for a ”forever” home of his own!
