Itty bitty Faith came to FFGW, as many do, after a desperate appeal from a municipal shelter worker to save a special kitty. When we agreed to take Faith in, we were told that the teeny, tiny 4 week old kitten had been thrown from a car and that the shelter vet suspected that she had a broken pelvis. As it turned out, Faith's pelvis was fine, but the rest of her tiny body was in big trouble due to the combined effects of near starvation, parasites and a devastating upper respiratory infection. Thanks to a week of intensive care at a local emergency vet and devoted home nursing by her foster mom, Faith has truly defied the odds to be the happy, healthy, hearty little girl you see before you. Faith LOVES people, playing, other cats and EATING! She would love to be adopted with one of her foster sister,  Iris.

Update February 17, 2013: Although it took two and a half years, we have proof that kitty dreams do come true: Faith's mommy came back to FFGW today and adopted Iris! We cant wait to hear how the girls adjust to each other!
