This tightly bonded, super sweet brother-sister pair first came to FFGW in April 2009. A few weeks earlier, they had been adopted from a high-kill rural shelter just minutes before they were bound for the euthanasia room, but were brought back a week later because they were "too affectionate."(!!!) The heartbroken staff started working the phones, and when they got to "F" for FFGW, we couldn't say no. We thought that we found them a perfect second home later that year, but 10 months later, that adopter has changed her mind, too. Welcomed back to FFGW with open arms, Juicy and Julie have settled in their foster home none the worse for the experience. Described as a "Little Mayor," Juicy is a happy outgoing boy who has never met a stranger. And while Julie used to hold back to let her brother be the family spokesman, she can now give him a run for his money when it comes to cuddling, playing and generally flirting with human friends old and new! Juicyfruit and Julie are willing to take a chance on adoption again if you are--let's hope the third time is the charm for them . . . and for you!

Update late May 2012: Reserved at our May adoption fair, Juicyfruit and Julie's new mom and dad picked them up from their foster home a week later! Happy, happy news for everyone!
