Hi I'm Emmy!  I'm an award-winning Best Kitty.  My prize was that I was rescued from a life as a colony cat and brought into the FFGW family.  Seeing me-now, you would never know I grew up on the streets.  Now I use my hunting skills for every toy in the house.  I follow the outside birds, squirrels, and skinks from one window to another but open the front door and I'm heading the opposite direction.  I love the creature comforts of naps on soft blankets and bowls of pate!

 

Due to being born on the streets and not having the best access to nutritious food during my early development, I am a smaller girl and have some intestinal issues which Feline Foundation and many wonderful vets have worked hard to diagnose and treat.  The vets say I will need a special prescription diet along with some supplements and medications for the rest of my life.  As the resident cats in my foster home and my foster mom will attest, none of this slows me down or keeps me from mischievous play.  I am usually the instigator of games of chase and wrestling, playfully taking down the other cats that are twice my size!
