Imagine that you are the sweetest, most trusting cat ever. Now imagine that your person packs you and your newborn babies into a box and hauls you off to an animal shelter. What would you do? If you were beautiful Scarlett, you would purr. And head butt. And cuddle. And you would pass all that loving sweetness on to your babies. (Not to mention, get yourself adopted first!)

Named for the ribbon collar her foster mom used to tell one tiny tabby from the other when they first arrived in foster care, Red Ribbon is Scarlett's only baby girl.  Like her mother, she is a beautiful  fluffy girl and looks very much like a Maine Coon kitten. Sweet & loving, tiny little, Red Ribbon will come running to say hello when you walk through the door and want to be near you. She'll be calling hello but you'll have to listen hard because her little meow is almost a whisper! And plan on having a kitty bunk mate from now on: this little girls wants to sleep with you all night long!

Even though Red Ribbon looks like a Maine Coon, her little legs are pretty short still and you will want to have a litterbox on every floor of the house so she doesn't have too far to go when she has to ... go!

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2015: Red Ribbon and Yellow Ribbon have been adopted and have a  forever home together just as they hoped!
