Orange females are quite rare in the feline world, so this little punkin is super special, indeed. Shockingly, Polly’s owner was spotted in front of a pet supply store in another part of the State offering her free to anyone who would take Polly off her hands. A kind soul took Polly home, but when her husband discovered that Polly was in the family way, he exploded and the woman called FFGW for assistance. Thanks to the kindness of a stranger and our wonderful FFGW foster family, Polly was able to deliver her 4 kittens in the safety and comfort of a real home. The foster mom reported that our little mom did everything right as each kitten emerged, and she continued to be a text book mother as the kittens grew and flourished. Polly’s 4 kittens, Dusty, Captain, Furry and Rex, are images of mom, both in looks and temperament. Please find it in your heart to offer Polly what she’s never experienced before….a real home with security and love for her lifetime.
