Barney and Lazarus came from a large cat colony on a cattle farm. They were having a hard time competing with the adult cats for food and were close to starving, so volunteers who came to help the colony cats took them home. Now that the boys have been acquainted with the good life in a warm home environment, they are thriving and rewarding their caretakers with love, cuddles, and hours of adorable kitten play!!  

Lazarus is a long, lanky gorgeous swirly orange hunk of a kitten! He is named for the miraculous recovery he’s made since his rescuer found him. He was starving and  it seemed as though he’d given up. Thank goodness he was found in time! Although terribly neglected at the farm, Lazarus is all nursed back to health and has discovered the joys of cuddling with humans. His people are rewarded daily with happy purrs and head butts, and he's recently discovered ... the lap!! He’s already well on his way to becoming a lap kitty extraordinaire. Lazarus has beautiful markings and VERY photogenic. He knows it too and is always happy to pose for you!  He is a very playful boy and  LOVES other cats, especially his “brother” Barney. 

The boys are such good friends they hope to be adopted together. If not, at least for Barney, a home with other cats is a must. We also think the boys would be accepting of a cat friendly dog, but they have been through so many adjustments, we feel young children might be too much for them. Ask to meet these wonderful boys!
