Pretty, petite, polka dotted Cookie B (for Bengal) is a very special girl in search of a very special someone. Cookie lost her home due to her owner’s allergies, and was surrendered to a busy local animal shelter. Cookie was shocked and scared and very, very nervous.  The wonderful shelter staff recognized that Cookie needed a quieter, gentler environment, and reached out to us. We found a quiet foster home, and in just a few short weeks, the trembling kitty cowering in her shelter cage is almost a memory. She is now super sweet and fun! She loves to rub against you and really enjoys playing and having her ears scratched. Cookie is still a little shy at first, and, like many Bengals, doesn't like being picked up or held. She prefers to show that she loves you by plopping down right next to you and will come up and give you a head butt or kiss when she wants some attention. She also likes to snuggle beside you when you're sleeping and even join you under the covers.   Bengals are an energetic breed and love to be in high places. Cookie says they are also very smart, and hopes that you are smart enough to fill out an adoption application and ask to meet her! 

A note about other cats:  Cookie has just started interacting with her foster family's cats and things have gone very well: Cookie is curious and unfazed. We think she might do well with another cat-friendly kitty.
