“On the road again …” is not a pleasant tune for Rosie or her sister Violet. They have been moving from place to place since their mom lost her job last year. Now at the end of her savings, mom has another move ahead of her in search of work and cannot take her kitties with her. The girls have spent every day together and as much as they can’t bear the thought of being parted from their mom, they know—or at least Violet knows—that   that they will be okay as long as they have each other. BUT THEIR SITUATION IS DIRE: ROSIE AND VIOLET CAN ONLY STAY IN THEIR CURRENT LODGINGS UNTIL APRIL 15! WE ARE HAPPY TO REPORT THE GIRLS HAVE A REPRIEVE UNTIL MAY 18, 2015!!!

Less adventurous than her sister, gentle, talkative Rosie is the homebody of the pair, and has taken all the moving around hard. A very affectionate kitty, Rosie loves being high on her climber. Rosie will call her mom over with little chirps and meows for their special greeting ritual of “kisses” (face nuzzling) and “hugs” (putting her paws on mom’s shoulders). Rosie is friendly with new people as soon as she warms up to them and can be quite the cuddler. Rosie follows her mom around the house—except when the vacuum cleaner comes out—and loves to drink water from a running tap. Rosie hopes Violet knows what she’s talking about when she says they will be okay as long as they are together. Please help these sweet, sweet young girls!

UPDATE May 15, 2015: OH HAPPY DAY! Rosie and Violet have been adopted! Our hearts go out to their mom, who put their safety and happiness above her own. And so happy for the girls & their new daddy!
