Fabulous Elvis is a special kitty! Newly registered in our placement assistance program, his loving owner has been ill and chronically unemployed and is finding it hard to care for her precious boy. She tells us that Elvis has an adorable method for getting attention: he purrs and rubs on you until you give in. He doesn't do this often but when HE wants some affection, HE will let you know. He likes to cuddle in bed and burrow underneath the covers and knead the sheets. Elvis is a great eater and when he finishes his meal, licks his food bowl over and over like he's starving! He’s nice and trim thanks to a mom who can resist his begging! The funniest thing Elvis does is play with cardboard boxes and the cardboard cylinders from the paper towels. He loves to sit and pose in boxes. He will rub on them and sit in them off and on throughout the day. Except for a tendency to scoot out the door when it’s opened, Elvis is an all-around fantastic kitty hoping to find a new mom or dad (or a whole family!) to love and love him as much as his mom does now! 

UPDATE: Elvis's mom found him a new home. Even though it wasn't through FFGW we are still happy for this bittersweet news. Mom says she looks for him every day and expects his greeting when she comes through the door.  Sigh...
