Pretty tabby Marcey was surrendered to an urban shelter along with her three tiny newborns. She quickly endeared herself to the shelter staff, with a purr for anyone who stopped by her cage to say hello or admire her little ones. Just as friendly in foster care, and a wonderful mommy (son Alpha and daughters Pippa and Nell  have  all been adopted ), it’s hard to imagine that anyone could willingly have given up such a sweet girl. How lucky for you that they did: Marcey is a genuinely special kitty. She  is a gentle companion who loves to watch TV in the evenings with her foster parents. And so  special that her foster mom describes her as "an adoring and faithful cat."  Now, with her babies  safely settled in homes of their own, marvelous Marcey is ready to share her love and devotion with you.

Note: Marcey was missing several teeth when she came to FFGW, and dental x-rays showed a mouth full of decay. Many extractions later, Marcey's mouth is healed and pain-free! Our vet says a good diet and routine dental care will keep her smiling from here on.

Update May 2015 After meeting their girl in April, Marcey went home with her new mom and dad in early May 2015.  Congratulations, little Marey May!
