About Mimi's Lola | |
Lola and her six brothers were born on July 8th, the day after their very pregnant mother Mimi was abandoned at a rural shelter. Doted on every minute (some might say spoiled) for all but their first 8 days, the kittens are extremely well socialized with humans of all ages and run to greet strangers at the door and by the time everyone has been introduced, treat every visitor as a lifelong friend. Tiny Lola and her pint-sized best friend and protector, Marco, take after their petite Mom physically, but their BIG personalities make them the uncontested leaders of the litter. They are the first to pop out of the nursery when the door is opened, the first to run to see new things, and the first to come for hugs and kisses. Lola may be smaller than her brothers, but she is convinced that anything they can do, she can do better. She will jump and jump and jump to try and match her bigger brothers. Lola is a strikingly beautiful girl: a mackerel tabby with white neck and paws, black back and strong black striping. Since they were just days old, Lola and Marco have been inseparable. Their bond is so strong that this little pair of explorers needs to be adopted together. They are both love bugs and you'll be doubly showered with love! Lola asked us to let you know that she and Marco wouldn't mind if you also adopted some of their other brothers and/or their mom. The family motto is, after all, "the more the merrier!" Every one of the kittens has great younger sibling potential: they all seem to instinctively know which of their foster parents' four adult cats are in the mood to play and when to flop before them in submission. As such, Lola and Marco would also make a wonderful addition to any family with other cat-friendly kitties.
Update: December was an exciting time! Lola (& her beloved Marco) and all of Mimi's other babies went home to their forever families! Just Mimi is waiting for her special someone--could that be you?
