These tiny tabby ladies (above on rescue day, August 9 2013) were found with their brother (already adopted) under a construction skiff and almost crushed. Thankfully, a contractor (who was only onsite at the time because he’d had car trouble that morning) heard their hungry meows-the babies didn’t even know they were in trouble! The girls are the sweetest kittens their foster mom has ever cared for--they purr the second you look at them, and love nestle against you and even love being held on their backs like human babies. They also play like crazy (they have about 50 toys) and are very used to being kissed and cuddled. The babies aren’t just a hit with humans—they also get along with the bigger cats in their foster home, even the one who is nicknamed “Grumpy Pants.”

We are so excited that Sophie and Josee were adopted at their very first adoption fair!!!! The picture below was taken the afternoon they were adopted!
