There is just something about Phil! The shelter staff who begged us to save him as his time ran short saw it. We saw it the second we met him. And we know you’ll see it too: Phil is about a year old, makes himself at home easily, and is very much a lap cat--he loves to sit on any lounging person. Phil is a very playful easy-going boy who loves people of all ages and other cats, even if they don't like him so much. (He isn’t even bothered by his foster family’s dogs, even though they’ve chased him a few times!) Phil’s super affectionate (a real head – butter) and will reach out to grab you (never with claws out) if you walk past him and he wants attention. His only bad habit is the occasional "love-bite", but never forcefully—even as a love-biter he has a light touch. But while we think Phil is pretty purr-fect, because of his vigorous affection style, he would probably be better suited to a family with elementary school age or older children than with very young ones. All in all, Phil is an easy cat to love and to care for. He’s just…Phil!

And the happiest news: Phil has been adopted! He met his new mom at his very first adoption fair, May 19, 2013! Yeah Phil!!!
