Not long ago, Luka was a little boy lost. He was befriended by the kitties at a feral feeding station in a city alley, who introduced him to their caretaker. She quickly realized that the newcomer wasn’t equipped to fend for himself and asked if FFGW could help. We were so happy to say yes! Luka is an almost ridiculously sweet kitty. He bonded almost immediately with his foster dad, but is still nervous and--literally--jumpy when he first meets new people. Even so, Luka responds almost instantly to gentle handling, and loves, loves, loves to be petted. In fact, as soon as you start petting, Luka stretches out and starts kneading. And even drools with happiness! Luka is so eager to be loved that he does an adorable, high stepping kneading “dance” to tell people he knows that he’s happy to see them—it looks like he's marching in place! Luka has just been introduced to toys and loves them. He is very calm around other cats and very curious about the world around him. 

Dateline June 15, 2013: Happy news from Luka--he wanted us to tell you that he's been adopted and LOVES having a mom and dad of his very own!!!!
