We don't know a lot about Buffy's history, but we are already totally smitten with our little green-eyed red head! After a week in a crowded rural shelter, she landed in foster care without missing a step or a purr. She's extremely social, well-adjusted,  and has a ton of energy. Buffy loves to play, but also has a cuddly side and loves to snuggle and chat with her foster dad. When company comes, she's the life of the party. She also has an adventurous palate, or at least wants to try whatever Daddy is eating: she has already sampled wasabi peas (ugh!) and ramen noodles (yum!). Orange tabby girls are always special, but Buffy is even more so: a kitty in a million!

We haven't seen Buffy interact with children yet, but we suspect she would make a fine family pet. Given her enthusiastic approach to play, she might be too much for very young ones, and since she is the only pet in her foster home, we also don't know her views on other cats or dogs.

Happy news May 2013: after some breath holding waiting for a skin test, Buffy's adoption light turned green & she is on her way to her wonderful new life with a home & mom of her very own!
