Sleek, black, golden-eyed, lovable Niles is a super playful (check out his new YouTube video below!), agile and sociable boy. He is always looking for his people, hoping for a game or to be petted, cuddled or brushed (how many kitties like that?). His likes also include being carried like a baby, snuggling on the couch and listening to bedtime stories—anything that brings him close to you. Niles is a great conversationalist, too, and will answer with mews and chirps when you talk to him. Niles loved being part of a foster family with small children and a at-home mom, but as sometimes happens when bonded kitties move to new environments, Niles & his sister (Baby, also available) became incompatible and had to be separated. In his next foster home, Niles was an “only child” but his foster dad worked very long hours and traveled frequently. Niles became very distressed and anxious. Happily, we're trying Niles in a foster family where his foster mom works from home. The kids in this family are past the bedtime story stage, but Niles has discovered that playing video games in his teenage foster brother's lap late at night is just as cozy and wonderful! Niles’s dream is to be the only kitty companion in a family that doesn’t travel too much or to help run a home-based business. Niles says he’s ready to be your home office assistant by day, evening playmate and snuggle buddy by night. 

Update April 2015: Niles has found a forever home where he will be free to be himself!!!
