Ulysses, our fluffy boy with the haystack hairdo (the photos don't do it justice), has already survived a great adventure:  he was found  by the side of the road on a cold, rainy December night, soaking wet, and screaming at the top of his lungs! How the then-17 ounce baby wound up there, we will never know, but a kind lady heard his cries and scooped him up. We couldn't be happier that she did. Ulyssess turns out to be one of the sweetest kittens imaginable. He loves being cuddled, held and kissed. He also loves being sung to. Even though he's still quite tiny, Ulysses is growing like a weed, is a great eater and a fearless player, jumper and climber. He is a talkative, opinionated boy who will let you know exactly  what's on his mind. Ulysses shares his foster home with several other cats and knows about, but doesn't interact with, the family dogs.

P.P.S. Saturday February 2, 2013 turned out to be a spe cial day for Ulysses & all of FFGW: Ulysses found a daddy of his very own and got a big brother (also adopted from FFGW) all in one fell swoop! This was his dad's third FFGW adoption, so Ulysses also has a very special orange tabby guardian angel cat (the late, great Thor) watching over him and his new family.
