Beautiful, green-eyed Carmalita is an amazing girl! Her favorite thing in the world is cuddling. And even though her favorite position is draping across your chest or shoulder, she very thoughtfully arranges herself so you can read or work on a laptop at the same time. She also loves being kissed, giving (and receiving)  head butts and eating (she prefers dry food). She is a good conversationalist and chirps hello when she sees you. To quote her foster mom, “Carmalita is simply delicious!” Not long ago, Carmalita was in pretty big trouble: she belonged to a large family and one of the little ones left a door open and Carmalita got outside. When she was found, she had a terrible wound on her tummy that almost penetrated her bladder. Her family couldn’t afford the cost of surgery and lovingly surrendered her to FFGW’s care in order to save her life. After surgery and some minor post-op complications, Carmalita has recovered beautifully and been given a clean bill of health from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail. Carmalita is a very curious girl and always wants to see what is behind any closed door. She is used to other cats and dogs, who she ignores, and is very gentle with young children.
