Hello, my name is Skeeter!

My dad saved me from being sent to a shelter by my previous owners and now FFGW has helped both of us by opening a foster home to ME!  I'm an older cat, about 11 years old.   I recently got a clean bill of health from my doctor and all my shots are up to date.  My dad and his wife were super good to me, but unfortunately, their newborn son is allergic to me and I didn't want to be a burden. I'm a loyal friend and true blue, even tho my coat is orange. I am looking for someone with whom to relax, watch some TV, and maybe make me chase a toy mouse from time to time. Unfortunately, because my first owners had me declawed, it is not safe for me to roam outside.  I prefer the indoors and would rather enjoy the view of the outside world from a nice window.  And my favorite place of all is the comfort and security of a cozy couch--right next to my person. IS THAT YOU? Please adopt me !

P.S. Although I don't like to boast, my  dad says that t he best is when I let you my belly. He says it's like rubbing the hair of an angel. I'm not quite sure what that means, but I sure do love having my tummy rubbed!

P.P.S I have some news: on Sunday March 17, 2013 my foster mom & dad brought me to this place where I had to sit in a cage. It was kind of scary and kind of boring. But I did get a Happy Sock from the Girls Scouts (mine was red and made specially for ME because I'm a redhead). And THEN a very nice lady & gentleman came and guess what? They LIKED ME! And guess what else? On Wednesday March 20, the lady and man came to my foster house and ADOPTED me!
