Looking for a young, energetic, goofy, snuggle-maniac? If so, Dandy's your guy! This silly little tuxedo-clad cat is as loving and cuddly as they come. In fact, he wasn't so much rescued as he rescued himself. We're not kidding: Dandy hopped right into the car of a kind young man who had gone out for a take-out meal without any plan for bringing home an exra mouth to feed. Loving to a fault, Dandy is ready to brighten your every day with his playfulness,  his good-natured purr and his adorable pink-nosed face. Dandy is all about interacting with his people and is quite a conversationalist. However, no delicate meows from this boy: he speaks feline with a definite goosey accent. We don't know for sure whether Dandy likes other critters, but our guess is that he likes any critter who doesn't mind a good chase around the house. You won't regret visiting this charming fellow in his foster home on Capitol Hill!

UPDATE: Dandy was adopted onNovember 17, 2012. He didn't have to go far, for in this smallest of all possible worlds, his new parents turned out to live just a few blocks from his foster home!
