Lovely Winter is a kitty in a hurry . . . to find a new home, that is.
We are posting Winter on our website as a special favor.

She lives outside FFGW's usual area in Fredericksburg VA with her loving mom who is in the United States Navy and will be shipping out for Yokohama, Japan in September 2012.

Winter's mom rescued her while she was stationed in Guam. And although Winter has traveled around the world with her mom, this time, Winter can't go with her and no family or friends are available to care for Winter during her mom's absence. So poor Mom has had to add one more sacrifice to her service to our country: she has to find Winter a new home.

Winter is a well-behaved girl and in excellent health. She is quiet and easy going and used to sleeping at the foot of the bed every night.  She also likes to nap on your chest while you watch TV.

If you have room in your heart for a quiet companion, please contact FFGW ASAP and we will get you in contact with Winter's mom right away!!!!

Winter's younger sister, Patches, also declawed, urgently needs a home too, but the girls do not need to be adopted together!
 

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2012: Winter has been placed with a family member but Patches is STILL LOOKING !
