"Pretty Witty!" 

That's what pops to mind the second you lay eyes on this darling young girl! Witty appeared on her rescuers' door step late last year and because their cats reacted violently to the newcomer, the very friendly tabby and white little one spent the winter in an insulated shelter in the couple's garage. That is until February when Witty presented her accidental parents with a big surprise: SEVEN KITTENS! At that point, bad attitude or not, the couple brought Witty and the babies indoors. They even lined up adopters for Witty and each of her little ones. But as the babies neared adoption age, one by one, all the prospective families backed out. The couple wanted to keep Witty, but their cats still held a grudge, so they kept two of the kittens and Witty and 5 of her little ones came to us. Witty is waiting for a family of her own to love and cherish! 

Approved applicants can visit Witty in her foster home, which she  shares with her daughter Rue and son Gale. Her other kittens, Peeta, Prim and Katniss can be seen at their foster home. Witty says that they are all adorable--and they are--but that's because they are as cute as their mommy!

Update May 2012: Saturday May 12 was a day of dreams: Witty, Rue & Gale were adopted together! We just can't stop purring!
