We are so happy to introduce you to wonderful Ally! She is a soft brown tabby girl who's playful, sweet, loves to sit--and sleep--in laps, adores toys and racing around the house. Ally has bundles of energy, plays like a tiny tiger and just has to know what's going on all the time, so her people need to watch that she doesn't get underfoot. She's quite a talker, too, and will greet you at the door every night, purring to be picked up so she can regale you with news about her day!
Ally's life wasn't always wonderful. Born in late summer 2011, she was brought to an urban shelter. The staff was stunned when their vet said the super-social, purring sweetheart had a dislocated hip, possible pelvic fractures and an injured tail. The shelter wasn't equipped to provide the special care Ally needed. But FFGW was! After re-evaluation by our vet, Ally was put on a strict regimen of cage rest and TLC. Thanks to her foster parents, who had the strength to resist Ally's best efforts to get out and explore, the program worked! Our vet has cleared Ally for adoption and expects no problems from her old injuries as she grows. The only remaining sign of her injuries is a surgically shortened tail.
Happily, Ally has no idea that she's a survivor. She views every day and every new experience with wonder and delight and can't wait for a home of her very own!!!
Update: Hooray! Ally was adopted on April 25, 2012. CONGRATULATIONS to Ally & her new family!!! Ally's adventure continues!!!
