Sam (the boy with more white in the two kitty shot) is a FABULOUS kitty! Friendly to a fault,  Sam likes lots of attention, especially in the morning. And his FAVORITE treat on earth is . . . ICE CREAM!

Sam is a super handsome orange and white boy. He and his older brother Butch (also available for adoption), were rescued from an Atlanta, Georgia-based organization some years ago and found their way to Northern Virginia with their owners. Unfortunately, the boys have had to leave their new home in Virginia because of a severely allergic infant.  A temporary solution found the boys a berth at their mother's parents  until a new home could be found. That's where you will be able to meet Sam and see what a  great guy he is. Unfortunately, Grandad has mild cat allergies that have been sent into overdrive by Butch's epic shedding (Sam sheds normally and  doesn't bother Grandad at all), so the owners have to move Butch ASAP. Sam is a well adjusted, indoor kitty and much loved by his heartbroken owners. Could you love him too?

Update September 2012: not to be outdone by older brother Butch, Sam has been adopted! What happy news for this wonderful pair of Southern Gentleman. Even happier for their lucky people!
