About Fishman | |
|
Fishman, who goes by Fisher these days, was the beloved first child of a wonderful young woman. Always on the needy side, as many orange tabbies are, Fisher did not adapt well as his family expanded. First, he acquired a stepfather, who didn't understand Fisher's need for so much attention-and who made his wife feel guilty about doting on her cat. When babies came along, Fisher's poor mom had even less time for her number 1 son, and even more guilt. Fisher sensed this, and became increasingly stressed, whiny and demanding. Prozac helped some, but Fisher's needs started to come between his harried mom and her spouse. The decision to give him back to FFGW was an agonizing one, but it turns out to have been just fine for Fisher! While we know he misses his mommy, he's off the Prozac and has gotten back in touch with his playful side-including becoming buddies with foster brother Max (also a returned FFGW adoptee). Of course, he still needs lots of human interaction, too. We know he will make the most wonderful addition to any appropriately cat-centered household (you know who you are =^,,^= )!
