Sammy is a two-and-a-half year old longhaired, very silky male who is brown tabby mixed with white. Unusual looking, Sammy is long and lean with pale gold eyes and on the quietly affectionate side. He was rescued about two months ago by a homeless cat caretaker at a convenience store in Lorton . Foraging for food, Sammy started feeding and showing his affection for caretakers, who had him vetted and eventually he came to FFGW. When it was discovered that Sammy had a microchip, it was scanned but the previous owners never registered the pet owner information, so Sammy either became lost or was abandoned. He gets along well with other cats in a multi-cat foster home and is ready for a home of his own again.
