An imported  rug  turned out to be Emma’s worst enemy. After living her entire life as a pampered and adored puss who used her litter box religiously, Emma met a Chinese rug that mysteriously drew her like a magnet. Something about that rug mesmerized this otherwise perfect kitty into thinking it was a great spot to defecate (but never urinate). According to her owners,  Emma has never used  any other surface, including the wall to wall carpeting or other area rugs, to do her kitty “business,” but they feel  Emma might be happier in another home without the temptation of a rug that calls her name. Emma is particularly fond of women and loves to have her tummy rubbed. Although she’s not fond of being held, she’s affectionate and loves to be around her humans, often perched on the arm of her favorite chair.
