Indie (short for Indie Annika), is a 3 year old (August 30th) female Blue Point Bicolor Ragdoll with big blue eyes and a very expressive face. She's a sweet, somewhat shy at first, playful little 7lb girl that once she feels comfortable with you will roll over and give you her belly to pet. She loves scritchies all over her back and sides and back of her ears but a little less on her little head. She can be sensitive at first to vigorous activity or loud noises but quickly shows up because she is so curious and wants to know what’s going on and to join in when she feels comfortable. She likes the smaller wand toys and absolutely loves floor toys like those open skitter balls or springs or small mice that she can hunt. She is really good at self-play. She gets the cutest zoomies and can make a racket for someone so tiny. She is very quiet but when she meows she sounds like a very tiny kitten. She is a cat furson. She loves all the other cats in the house and they all love her and they have always deferred to her with anything, toys, food, whatever. No one ever took a toy or treat from her and they all clean her and let her do things first so she is sometimes called the kitty Dali lama because she’s like a cat guru.
Indie must be adopted with the absolute love of her life and her bonded partner Skye. They are definitely a bonded pair. They lean on each other while they wait for dinner, they play with each other constantly and usually sleep either together or where they can see each other. If separated they walk around the house looking for each other and then run together and start cleaning or having a wrestling match with tiny Indie not giving an inch to Skye. They are always together and seem to always be communicating in their own private language to each other through soft sounds and looks. One thing that they are different about is food. Skye will only eat wet food. Indie eats both wet and dry food and actually prefers mostly dry.
