Sylvester is as cute as the Looney Tunes name he's been given. He of course has no desire to chase a tiny yellow bird around!

He would much rather snuggle near you, lay in your lap or beside your leg. This boy was outside in a dog crate during the NC hurricane. He was still inside his crate when he was found the next day.

This amazing boy acted as if nothing happened around him. FFGW took him in and he's had a full Vet work up and is ready to go. Yes, he has FIV, but the FIV virus is not a reason not to adopt! 

It is not transmissible to people or to non-cat species and is not a death sentence. It simply reduces a cat's immune system as the cat ages, which can leave the cat more vulnerable to other feline infections later in life.  Cat to cat transmission does not occur with casual contact and it is not airborne.
