FFGW Adoption Policy is that all kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs. If not part of a bonded pair, you need to have a compatible cat 1 year old or younger already in the family.

Author Jane Austen has been described as confident, outgoing and ambitious. Our sweet Jane Pawsten could not be better named!

Sweet Jane is a cuddle-muffin, purring the minute you touch her.  She is very outgoing and "busy", playing, chasing, and exploring.  When she is done chasing toy mice and leaping in the air after fishing pole toys, she loves to cuddle up on your lap or snuggle into your neck for a sweet, purr-ful sleep.

Jane and her sister Meowy Shelley are quite the dynamic duo.  They love to climb to the top of the cat tree and then play "King of the Mountain", wrestling until either one of them wins our, or both get tired and decide to snuggle up together and share the top perch.

Meowy Shelley and Jane Pawsten are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.

Both Meowy and Jane had untreated eye infections when FFGW got them.  FFGW had them treated by a veterinary ophthalmologist who released them as "comfortable, with no vision issues, and no future veterinary care needed related to the eyes".

Jane does have some scarring on one eye.  The ophthalmologist wants you to know that as Jane grows her eye will double in size, but the scar will remain the same size -- meaning that once she is an adult, the scar will be much smaller and less noticeable.  Again, she sees very well "around" the scar and, just like having a scar on your arm or your leg, there is no concern that the scarring will result in future veterinary care.  Don't pass up your chance to adopt two amazing and outgoing lap cats!  Get your application in for Jane and Meowy ASAP!
