About Lillie - FIV Positive | |
|
|
Lillie is sweet, laid-back, and will be your constant companion. This medium-haired beauty loves to
be brushed and petted. She gets very excited and rolls around for belly rubs and is an excellent
biscuit maker. During the day she will keep you company sleeping nearby in a cozy bed while you
work. At night, she cuddles in her favorite spot on the bed, coming and going occasionally but never
disturbing you.
Lillie will make a great work at home buddy for anyone, as she doesn’t walk on the keyboard or
photo bomb your virtual meeting even though she is cute enough to do it. If you would like to take a
break from work and play with a feather toy or give her a head massage, she is more than willing.
Lillie has a very gentle personality and is very affectionate. Sh e will pop her head over the sofa to
see if you are available for petting, and if you are not she will wait and check again in a bit.
Lillie is quite the foodie. She had a full mouth extraction meaning she has no teeth, but even so
mealtime is the best time for her! She eats both wet and dry food with ease and when you look at
her bowl after she eats you will think someone washed the bowl already!
Lillie is optimistic about new people and will cozy up in one of her beds if you have a house full of
guests or children. She has been amenable to guests visiting her in her castle for chin rubs, and
very much approves of these new humans. Lillie would make a great companion for a work at home
person or couple and, while she is ok with other cats, we believe her preference would be to be the
only princess in the castle.

The FIV virus is not a reason not to adopt! It is not transmissible to people or to non-cat
species and is not a death sentence. It simply reduces a cat's immune system as the cat
ages, which can leave the cat more vulnerable to other feline infections later in life.
Cat to cat transmission does not occur with casual contact and it is not airborne.
Cats who are FIV+ live long, happy lives! Please check out the below informational links about FIV to understand why it is not a reason to shy away from adopting:
