FFGW Adoption Policy is that all kittens under 6 months must be adopted in pairs. If not part of a bonded pair, you need to have a compatible cat 1 year old or younger already in the family.

Bear, also known as “Batman” by his foster mom since it looks like he’s wearing a mask, was born around 5/1/2023. We don’t know his exact birthday since he came from a feral colony. Both he and his sister, Rose, were rescued together by a volunteer in the vet program at JMU. They were found screaming and starving. Once they were brought back to the volunteer’s home, they were quickly adopted by Rosie, a nursing mom from the same colony. You can see his story on their previous foster mom's Instagram, Foster_kittens.838.

Bear is an outgoing and confident little kitty. Not much scares him these days. He will confidently sit and watch the vacuum cleaner in action, as long as it doesn’t get too close! He always greets his foster parents when they arrive. He enjoys snuggles and kisses, but you have to remember, he’s still a young man and he wants his freedom! Bear will zip around the room, chase his sister, and run up the cat post all within a blink of an eye. He’s been taking his etiquette classes very seriously.

Bear and Rose would like to go home together.  His ideal home will have lots of toys, a cat tree or two, and people who have time to play and snuggle with him.

Bear is scheduled to be neutered and the surgery will be covered by Feline Foundation at their partner vet.
