Batman and Robin? Lone Ranger and Tonto? No, the male duo with the greatest bond between them is this duo --Tiger and Greg!
They sleep in each other's arms, often eat out of the same dish, and love to play together. However, at the animal shelter they were put in separate cages (as is the policy) and another rescue agreed to take Tiger. That rescue could only take one cat but when Tiger was being carried away to go (alone) to the other group and passed Greg's cage, Greg was reaching out his arm and grabbing for Tiger and Tiger was meowing and meowing. This about broke everyone's heart, and when FFGW heard about it we said "Do not split them, send them to us!" There is no way we would let these boys be separated, so they are looking for a home together!
Tiger and Greg are THE sweetest boys! Life was a bit rough for them before they were brought to the shelter, and you can see that their paw pads are cracked and chapped (but healing nicely now that they have warmth, soft beds and good nutrition!) They are both purring lap cats. They are very friendly to everyone, and if you sit down and pull one or both onto your lap they will melt up against you, immediately purr, and settle in for as long as you care to sit. These boys share a special bond and their greatest holiday hope is that their forever family will find them and bring them home for the holidays.
