Heathcliff is a very gentle, very sweet young cat who would love nothing more than a person or two to call his own. Even when he first came to his foster home and was assessing the situation from under the bed, Heathcliff would "talk" to his foster mom and come out immediately if she got down on the floor and made eye contact with and talked to him. He loves to snuggle next to his foster mom on the couch and to sleep on the bed with her at night. He also has a bit of an addiction to Temptations treats, and will beg for them and chase them if they are thrown for him to fetch -- and will promptly eat them and come back for more!

Heathcliff is in a foster home with both cats and dogs. He was nervous about the dogs at first, but once he realized they were calm and cat-friendly, they are now 100% okay in his book. He will sleep on the sofa next to one of them and will cautiously sneak up and sniff both when they are sleeping.

Heathcliff co-exists well with the other cats in his foster home though he does not really interact with them. He would be accepting of another non-alpha cat in his forever home, but also would not argue if he were the only feline to absorb all of the attention and petting from his forever family.
