Sweet, easy-going, and curious, Roscoe is a go-with-the-flow kind of cat. He may step back and survey the situation before he jumps in, but he gets adjusted and lets his sweet nature shine through. He has lived in a variety of situations, from a college apartment with multiple cats and roommates, some time as an only cat with two roommates, to summers and holidays in a house with two dogs and a pushy overlord I-was-here-first cat, and he has thrived everywhere. One of the dogs he has lived with is blind, and Roscoe gave him space and never got mad at him for not respecting his boundaries.

Very playful, he will play with whatever toy you choose to dangle in front of him and invite other animals in the house for a rousing game of cat and mouse! He is food motivated and loves treats and scratches on his tail, chin, and belly, but rest assured--when he’s done, he lets you know. He will join you in the family room but won’t hop in your lap; but at bedtime, he’s happy to sleep nearby on your pillow. He’s also adjusted to sleeping alone and doesn’t complain.
