Last winter, this highly intelligent ebony girl raised a trio of tiny kittens. Cleo impressed her foster parents as a quiet and demure little lady except where other cats were concerned--Cleo is not a cat person! Even so, sweet Cleo quickly found a home with a first-time cat parent who was looking for a quiet companion who would be happy as an only cat. Unfortunately, once free of her maternal obligations, Cleo reverted to kittenhood and became too much cat for her adoptive mom's quiet lifestyle. The new Cleo is never idle, is quite a talker and won't tolerate a closed door. She has also been known to steal balls of yarn. And although she's no lap cat, Cleo demands lots of attention, loves being petted and scratched on her chin. A budding physicist, Cleo uses her paw to move objects across flat surfaces and watches intently as they fall. Cleo also has an interest in entomology, and is studying Cicada Brood X as she enjoys walks--safely secured by her harness and leash, of course!
