About Adele, Odessa, and Tikka | |
|
Adele, Tikka and Odessa are “sisters from another mother”. Adele was pulled from a high-kill shelter where she and her two siblings were alone with no mommy at 5 weeks of age and were going to be euthanized. Her two siblings were adopted, leaving Adele alone with her foster family until Tikka came along. There are adult cats, dogs and kids in the foster family, all of whom Adele loves. Since Adele was so tiny when brought into foster care and has known nothing but love and affection from that young age, she is super sweet and adaptable, outgoing and confident, playful and cuddly. We estimate Adele’s DOB as around late March 2019 and she came into FFGW mid-May.
Enter sweet Tikka. Tikka was dropped off at a shelter all alone. We don’t know if she was a stray or a surrender. She was vulnerable because she was terrified at the shelter and was “hissy” but we know you don’t often see a cat’s true personality at a shelter and we took Tikka into foster care in early June. Her DOB is the same as Adele’s, give or take a week. Within a day or two in foster, Tikka’s true, sweet, endearing personality shone through and she proved to be a “Velcro cat” – craving human companionship and wanting to be “on” someone as much as possible.
Soon after meeting each other, Tikka and Adele became BFFs. They play together, groom each other, and sleep curled up together. Both are incredibly well adjusted and love people. Adele is a bit more outgoing, and Tikka is a bit more of a cuddler, but both are exceptional kittens.
Then the call came about Odessa. Sweet, five week old tiny baby, crying pitifully under a car in a blinding and cold thunder storm. FFGW rescuers retrieved her and when no one claimed her, she joined Tikka and Adele in their foster home and quickly bonded with the two. The trio mesh like a well-oiled machine, eating, playing, cuddling and sleeping together. With their similar coat coloring, they could easily be mistaken for biological siblings but they are even better than that because they are siblings who chose each other and who therefore share a very strong bond.
Adele loves the dogs in her foster home. She rubs up against them and plays with their ears. Tikka loves to cuddle in bed with her foster family, and makes adorable little chirping meows to tell you all about her day. Odessa is super playful, cuddly and interactive. She loves to help if you are working on your computer. All three carry toys around in their mouths and move them from room to room to play.
These little ladies are spayed and up to date on shots. Due to a sponsor hoping to keep the trio together, the adoption donation for all this cuteness is just $250. The only thing they are missing right now is their own, forever family. Come meet them today!
