Hi, there!

My name is Daisy … and I am looking for my Forever Home.

I am a rescue kitten from Hurricane Florence in North Carolina.  A well-intentioned friend adopted me, to be a companion for a very nice, very elderly 88-yr-old lady, who had two cats that passed away.

Unfortunately, this nice lady - who loves me very much! - has a live-in caregiver who is allergic to cats.  She told the nice lady that it was either her, or the kitten.  Can you believe this?!

But the lady needs her caregiver, and she had to make the difficult decision to find me a Forever Home.

To be honest, I think this is the right decision, because I am an intelligent, energetic little girl who loves to play and explore!  But the way things are, the elderly lady doesn’t have the mobility or energy to interact much, and the caregiver ignores me.  

So I spend most of my time just wandering around a big, silent house.  Sometimes friends come by, and bring their dogs, and I love to play with them!  I am very dog friendly!  And once in a while, a granddaughter brings her little girls, and I love to play with them!  So, as you can see I am dog-friendly and kid-friendly and love to interact with everyone.  

I am about 8 months old, up-to-date on all shots, spayed, and very healthy. My vet thinks I’m adorable, and really hopes that I’ll find a home with at least one other feline, since cats love companionship.  Just look at my photo, and tell me I’m not purrrr-fect!
