Jack and Diane both came from an elderly lady's house, which is where they were born.  When the lady could no longer care for her cats and a rescuer started moving them out, Diane was one of the first to come into rescue.  In her foster home she was very distressed and despite attempts to pair her with other cats from the same location she was not interested.  When the last few cats were removed and the carriers brought into the rescuer's home, Jack was crying in his carrier.  Diane heard him and immediately perked up, hopped up, and started crying back.  The rescuer put Jack in the crate where Diane was being housed and they cooed over each other very sweetly.  They were both so happy, couldn't get enough of each other, and were immediately calm.  Based on what we know about their background, we believe they are probably littermates.

These days Jack and Diane can be seen rough-housing together, grooming each other, or snuggling together.  They definitely love each other very much and absolutely must be adopted together.
