Thanks to a generous grant received from the Petfinder Foundation, the adoption donation for this bonded pair has been waived.
Fatone and Myrcella, what a sweet and special pair!
As you can see Myrcella has deformed front legs. She’s been seen by two vets and a special orthopedic surgeon. She’s not in pain and gets around without limits. She uses her litter box like every other kitty, plays with her string, and has no idea of her limits. Myrcella was born with this birth defect.
FFGW explored all options of any surgery she might need. The wonderful orthopedic surgeon that examined her for us said we don't need to do surgery to fix for her as she's learned to use her legs that way they are which is what is best for her health and happiness.
Fatone is her best friend who the shelter paired with her after all her siblings were adopted and she was left alone. Fatone adores her and she adores him the same way! They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
This stunning duo would need someone who understands they will need some time to settle into their new home as they are shy at first. They don't lash out, hiss or get upset with anyone, but they need a home that is safe for them to settle in and realize they're finally safe and loved!
