Sweet Sam is a dapper, lovable and playful boy. He has yet to meet a toy he doesn’t like to play with and will even turn ordinary household items into playthings – napkin rings, pens and any other small items that fall on the floor can be quite fun to bat around.  When he isn’t playing, he loves to nap next to you or on you.  He will knead on you and when you give him chin rubs he will even return the favor by reaching up to gently pet your face.  He’s also quite content to curl up on the end of the sofa next to you for his evening nap.  Sam is an excellent supervisor in the kitchen and particularly likes to inspect the loading and unloading of the dishwasher by hopping on the open door. 

Sam gets along well with other cats – chasing and wrestling with the resident cat in his foster home is great exercise and then they share a meal or a window to watch the outside world.  He also enjoys the use of a good scratching post.
