Ami is an affectionate, joyful, gentle cat. She loves being pet and cuddled; and she's not stingy with the head-butts. Every time she hears you come home, she'll come looking for you and feel delighted by your return.
Ami will follow you to whichever room you're in to ensure loneliness is never an issue. She doesn't love to be picked up and while she may not sit on your lap, she does love to sit right next to you, all snuggled up against your leg or curled up at your feet.
She is wonderful with strangers -- she warms up right away to all kinds of human affection. If she's not interested in interacting,
she calmly walks away, (we've never heard her hiss or seen her swat or bite). When she wants attention, (or food) she will gently place her paw on you, it's super adorable! Ami enjoys watching a laser point dart around the room, (and chase it if she's feeling frisky
). She loves to entertain her self with her favorite mouse toy too!
Ami is a 9-year-old polydactyl, (extra toes that look like thumbs!). She has a soft black coat with a little bit of white on her chest. Ami is a truly special cat looking for an equally special human companion to share her love with.
