Shade was surrendered to an urban shelter earlier this year, along with several other cats and kittens from the same household. We got a big surprise on intake day when our vet told us that Shade was very pregnant with at least 4 kittens! The kittens and Shade’s sister Buttercup have been adopted and Shade is enjoying socializing with her foster parents and their other cats. Shade is a sweet little one who LOVES to be with you and wants to know what you’re doing every minute. If you sit down, she’ll snuggle right by your side. Since relieved of her maternal duties, Shade’s playful side has really emerged: she loves all her toys and her favorite game is chasing her treats!
