This gorgeous long haired dilute tortie was found by a good Samaritan who took her in from the cold and rain over the holidays. When he found her, she was very matted and extremely skinny. Under his care, she gained weight and her silky, beautiful fur was restored to its luster.

     Calliope is the quintessential sweetheart cat. The minute you pick her up she starts kneading with her paws , and tucks her head under your chin to snuggle.  She loves being petted and writhes around in pure happiness, basking in the attention.  She loves everyone! 

     At the current time Calliope seems fearful of other cats. She is not aggressive but hisses and retreats.  While a home with other cats is not absolutely prohibited, we feel that she would be happiest as your one and only.

     This pretty girl is looking for a forever family to love her and to promise that she will enjoy snuggling  on demand for the rest of her life!
